Over the previous 3 years we have had the pleasure of helping the following organisations deliver high impact campaigns and first rate social media activity.
We recently worked with the Guardian on their flagship climate change campaign Keep It In The Ground where we have been helping them to better connect with audiences beyond the Guardian’s core readership.
During this project we came up with the idea for #GroundUp a focus on the young people who will be worst affected by climate change. We had the pleasure of working with lots of young people to curate interesting content. Follow the link to view the piece we developed with the film-maker and designer Finn Harries from the video blog JacksGap.

Friends of the Earth
We have worked with Friends of the Earth on their campaign to stop fracking in Lancashire. We helped develop and implemented targeted social ad campaigns and created social media content to boost the profile of the campaign.
The campaign was successful as Lancashire County Council took the decision to reject Cuadrilla’s applications to frack two sites in Lancashire.
We have worked on the worlds biggest girls rights’ campaign ‘Because I am a Girl’ helping to deliver influencer outreach programmes and create digital content for the #FaceUp app campaign.
We created the digital communications for the highly successful Veganuary campaign which saw thousands of people go vegan for the month of January. We managed all the social media channels ensuring we created interesting relevant content for the community. The campaign led to a huge uptake in a vegan diet and widespread discussion across the internet. This article about the Veganuary campaign written by People Like You founder Damien was the most popular article on the Guardian website on the day of publication.

CSV- Volunteer Champions
Last year we had the pleasure of working with the UK volunteering charity CSV (Community Service Volunteers) on their ‘Volunteer Champions‘, campaign.
Our brief was to work alongside the in-house team to design a feel good social media campaign celebrating 50 years of the charity. Collectively we finally settled on ‘Volunteer Champions’, which would use photos from CSV’s rich past to celebrate their history and link in with the great work they are still doing in communities across the UK.
The campaign ran for a total of 6 weeks and our social media and PR efforts meant that that ‘Volunteer Champions’, reached the eyes of over half a million people.
We have worked extensively with the lovely folks over at Lush Cosmetics supporting their campaigns team with a number projects. We have provided a wide range range of digital services, including designing creative campaigns, social media management and blogger influencer campaigns.
Fighting Animal Testing
We provided social media and campaign support for the successful fighting animal testing campaign to ban the sale of cosmetics tested in animals in Europe. We helped create content to build momentum on social media channels throughout the campaign which saw over 300,000 people of people show their love for animals by signing a petition calling for an end to the cruel unnecessary practice of testing on animals for cosmetics. We also provided blogger influencer campaigns and worked on the successful #AnimalPerson photo sharing campaign.
Finally in March 2013 after 10 long years of delays the EU implemented a complete ban on the sale of cosmetics developed through animal testing.
Break the bag habit
We worked with Lush to create a quick fire social media campaign that engaged with bloggers. This campaign for the creation of an army of bag monsters illustrations, YouTube videos with children telling us where plastic bags go and a Twitter storm telling the treasury to implement a bag tax. The campaign was described by Social Media Influence as; “such a winner”.
No Cop Out For Wildlife
We worked with our friends at Lush on there ‘No Cop Out For Wildlife’ campaign. Which focused on encouraging the general public to vote for the most wildlife friendly police commissioner in the recent elections.
Sadly wildlife crime in the UK often goes unpunished including fox hunting, so we decided to turn the tables a bit by using the power of social media and hunt down the views of the Police Commissioner candidates regarding the enforcement of wildlife crime laws.
We set about doing this by creating a Foxy Force of bloggers and supporters to email their local candidates and spread the word about the campaign. Initially we started raising awareness through an online PR campaign. This was wonderfully supported so many bloggers and worked nicely with our #FoxyForce comepetion which encouraged people to create a police force serious about enforcing wildlife crime.

We used a range of tactics including organising a blogger event, blogger outreach and designing creative social media challenges including our #mumswalk Pinterest challenge and foot scrub competition thanks to our friends at Lush LTD.
